CycloneThe frigid air burned in my lungs, puncturing my senses with frozen, jagged edges. My hands shook violently, and I grasped my knees to keep from falling forward into the torrent of the icy river. A glimpse of spring had given it permission to move, and so it had in force. Snow fell with the calling of the wind in sheets from the spindly outer branches of swaying trees. Nature deafened me as all of these events combined, and I took the opportunity to calm. The thrill of an imaginary chase had been exhilarating.Cyclone
